MORE WINNING: Gallup Poll Shows Record Financial Satisfaction Numbers For President Seeking Re-election

Posted on 13 February 2020

Are you sick of winning? Great news for America means bad news for the America-hating Democrats. The latest Gallup polls show record high numbers for a President seeking re-election in the categories of being better off today than three years ago and general financial satisfaction. Trump scores better than any President dating back to 1992 when Gallup started tracking these numbers.

While there is a substantial party line divide between how Republicans and Democrats feel, the key numbers are from the Independents, of whom 60% say they are better off today than they were three years ago.

From Gallup:

Sixty-one percent of Americans say they are better off than they were three years ago, a higher percentage than in prior election years when an incumbent president was running. In the 1992, 1996 and 2004 election cycles, exactly half said they were better off. In three separate measures during the 2012 election cycle, an average of 45% said they were better off.

That’s right, 61% say they are better off today under Trump than they were three years ago, as Trump started cleaning up the disaster left behind by Obama. Those numbers are 11% better than any other President for as long as Gallup has been conducting this poll.

The article continues:

The current results, from a Jan. 16-29 Gallup poll, echo record highs, measured earlier in January, in Americans’ satisfaction with the way things are going in their personal life and in their assessments of their personal finances.

Relatedly, 52% of U.S. adults say it is easier for them to “go and buy things in the stores” than it was three years ago, higher than in the 1992, 1996 and 2004 election cycles, when the figures were closer to 40%.

Again, these are record high numbers for Trump, scoring 10 points higher than anyone else.

And when the polls are broken down by party affiliation, we see where Trump has the biggest advantage. We know he has most of the Republican voters, but he also scores at 60% with independents. Even 29% of Democrats are forced to admit they are doing better today than they were under Obama.

Again, record numbers in the categories for his own party and for independents.

This goes along with record high optimism for personal finances and a 90% personal life satisfaction rate.

And the Democrats are going to campaign against this?
