On Tuesday morning’s CNN Newsroom, co-host Jim Sciutto speculated with former Clinton administration official Madeleine Albright about interference with November’s election. Sciutto even suggested President Trump will tamper with the election by asking if “the interference in this election is coming from just as much inside the country as from outside the country?”
Going into tin-foil hat territory, Sciutto began by fear mongering about Trump not accepting the election results:
They are demanding that Congress allocate more money to keep voters safe and foreign actors out, to make sure your vote counts. All this as President Trump we should note refuses to say simply whether he will or will not accept the results of the election.
Sciutto and his fellow Democrats have yet to “accept the results” of the 2016 election and attack Trump still. CNN has continued to push the debunked Russia collusion narrative, despite transcripts showing the top Obama officials who pushed the story testified under oath that there was no collusion.
Still, the facts did not prevent Sciutto from setting up Albright to spread fear about November:
SCIUTTO: So four years ago, Russia interfered brazenly in the U.S. Election in a number of ways. Now we are three months away from another election. Are you concerned that not just Russia but other countries will attempt to duplicate what they did in 2016 in 2020?
ALBRIGHT: Yes, I am concerned because we have a -- a bunch of evidence in many ways of continued interference by the Russians and others in our -- our democratic process and also in terms of a process of trying to separate us from our allies and undermining our institutions. So I do think it's very important to be very watchful about what is going on. And as you described this, we have the issue of foreign interference.
Speaking of election interference, CNN has done far more to mess with an election than Russian bots ever have. In 2012, then CNN host Candy Crowley repeatedly injected herself into a presidential debate between Barack Obama and Mitt Romney to assist Obama. It was also rich to ask a Clinton stooge about election interference. If Sciutto wanted to talk about Russian involvement in the 2016 election, he would have discussed Hillary Clinton obtaining information from the Russians to smear Trump in the Steele dossier.
The former Obama official then suggested that Trump will try to cheat the election:
I'm going to quote from that letter because -- speaking of foreign actors -- you say these actors influence Americans or attempt to influence Americans by exploiting fear and confusion around the voting process. It is a sad fact that some of that same fear and confusion is being promoted by the sitting President of the United States. I -- I want to quote a tweet he sent just this morning and this -- this is a note he has sounded before about mail-in ballots saying that mail-in voting, unless changed by the courts, will lead to most corrupt election in our nation’s history. Now, I -- I should state this -- we have to fact check the President all the time. There is no evidence that -- that -- soldiers have been doing mail-in voting for -- for decades. Are you concerned that the interference in this election is coming from just as much inside the country as from outside the country?
The shill also lied about mail-in voting. It is quite controversial for legitimate reasons. Just this month, an Honest Elections Project study demonstrated states often send ballots to deceased individuals and to addresses where the intended recipients no longer reside.
Furthermore, the group said that mail-in ballots enable people to send in ballots for dead people and to send ballots to multiple states. For these reasons, 800 ballots were disqualified from an election earlier this year in Paterson, NJ and four people, including two city officials, face criminal charges for their involvement. Don’t want to listen to a right-leaning group? Former President Jimmy Carter chaired a 2005 commission that found that there are serious issues with the legitimacy of mail-in voting. With these fair concerns, why are Sciutto and the Democrats so in favor of mail-in voting?
With the election looming, CNN has been ramping up efforts to attack its legitimacy in case Trump wins again.
This Democratic propaganda was brought to its viewers by Nestle and Dawn. Let them know here if you think they should be sponsoring such content.

JIM SCIUTTO: It is if you can believe it just a little over three months until Election Day and the nation's former national security leaders are sounding the alarm about the impact of not one but two crises that could have a major impact. The coronavirus outbreak and once again, foreign interference in the election. They are demanding that Congress allocate more money to keep voters safe and foreign actors out, to make sure your vote counts. All this as President Trump we should note refuses to say simply whether he will or will not accept the results of the election. With me now is former Secretary of State and former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, Madeleine Albright. Madame Secretary, thanks so much for joining us this morning.
MADELEINE ALBRIGHT (FORMER SECRETARY OF STATE AND FORMER U.S AMBASSADOR TO THE UNITED NATIONS): Great to be with you, thank you so much.
And at the same time, we have the crisis with the -- the virus. And so these elections are incredibly always important, but in terms of not having any disruptions and being able to go forward is the basis of this letter that has bipartisan support, where we're talking about the importance of all of this.
SCIUTTO: I'm going to quote from that letter because -- speaking of foreign actors -- you say these actors influence Americans or attempt to influence Americans by exploiting fear and confusion around the voting process.
ALBRIGHT: Well, I am concerned about this kind of steady drum beat of already saying that there are going to be rigged elections and various problems. And I think that we therefore have to speak out very strongly saying that we have time now, an urgent issue, in terms of making sure that the elections do work, that the mail-in aspect of it is fairly carried out. And that those who want to vote in person are able to do that which leads to the basic point is in this country, states run elections and they are short of money. They need help in terms of making sure that this does work.
