In the last pre-election edition of the NewsBusters Podcast, Executive Editor Tim Graham discusses the media's aerobic aversion to any story dealing with Hunter Biden -- and Joe Biden's brother Jim -- trying to negotiate some lucrative business in China.
Both sides of the 60 Minutes interviews last Sunday dismissed any Biden scandal: Lesley Stahl mocked President Trump for stating Biden was embroiled in a scandal, and Norah O'Donnell teed up Biden to dismiss it as "part of a Russian disinformation campaign." (You don't have to prove that claim, apparently, even though the intelligence community denied that.)
MRC Research Director Rich Noyes is the guest, discussing his latest study of the ABC, CBS, and NBC evening newscasts and how the coverage of Trump and his Democrat opponent is even worse this year. Compared to his campaign four years ago, Trump has been bludgeoned with 32 percent more negative comments (822 this year, vs. 623 in 2016), while Biden has enjoyed 65 percent fewer negative comments than Hillary Clinton faced in 2016 (31 for Biden, vs. 145 for Clinton)
