As the nation’s electoral reckoning is mere days away, Hollywood entertainers are using their precious last moments of political persuasion to advocate for more killing of unborn children. What a beautiful set of values the left has, huh?
In a last ditch attempt to help secure a Biden/Harris administration, which comes with presidential candidate Biden’s promise of making Roe v. Wade “the law of the land,” Planned Parenthood inserted a celebrity-sponsored political ad in various swing-state newspapers.
As reported by Rolling Stone, the ad consisted of a whopping six pages of pro-abortion rhetoric urging voters to “change the direction of this country” in terms of protecting abortion. Included were the signatures of "hundreds" of mainstream music artists, including Billie Eilish, Pink, the Beastie Boys, St. Vincent, Queens of the Stone Age, Phoebe Bridgers, Angel Olsen, Bright Eyes, Margo Price, and Weezer.
Of course the great fear is, especially after left wing activist SCOTUS Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was replaced by conservative Justice Amy Coney Barrett, that time is short for the grisly killing of unborn children in their mothers’ wombs.
For Hollywood hedonists, ACB’s ascendance to the high court spells certain disaster. The musical prima donnas’ PSA read like a pro-abortion version of Paul Revere’s ride, essentially screaming “the pro-birthers are coming!” and expecting pro-choicers to mount their last stand at the behest of their favorite pop music icons. Disturbing.
The signed-letter implored voters in states like Pennsylvania, Michigan, Florida, and Wisconsin to fill out their ballots with choices that would prevent “further assaults on our reproductive freedom.” It stated, “After the rushed confirmation of Justice Amy Coney Barrett, in the midst of a pandemic, we now face a Supreme Court that puts our health and freedoms, including our right to safe and legal abortion, at extreme risk.”
Remember filling a SCOTUS vacancy involves a corrupt political move when it involves President Trump installing a conservative judge. The last-ditch Planned Parenthood appeal added, “The damage already inflicted on our country will last for generations. We can’t afford any further assaults on our reproductive freedom — our right to control our bodies. We need your voice.”
Other artists including R.E.M.’s Michael Stipe, Tenacious D (actor Jack Black’s rock band) and Fleetwood Mac’s Lindsey Buckingham added their names to the ad as well.
Planned Parenthood Action Fund president Alexis McGill ratcheted up the rhetoric in a statement, saying, “Everything is on the line with this election. Voters across the country understand that we need leaders who will fight to protect our rights and access to health care in every branch of government.”
God-willing, the American people won’t be swayed by their hysteria. The tragedy here (well besides the sheer death toll of innocent children via abortion) is that millions of American have to recognize that some of their favorite musicians are DESPERATE for the continued practice of ripping babies limb from limb, and that these artists hate normal Americans for their pro-life views.
